About

I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Missouri in 2005. I received my Master of Arts in Social Work from The University of Chicago School in 2004. My training includes Family Systems Theory and Diagnosis and Treatment of Children. Additionally, I hold a BS in Social Policy from Northwestern University.

In addition to working as a part-time private practitioner, I serve as adjunct faculty at Washington University’s Brown School of Social Work and at Maryville University. Prior to starting a private practice, I gained experience providing psychological counseling services to individuals and families at various social service agencies in Chicago and St. Louis. My work experience includes providing services in school and office based settings and within the child welfare system.

With over five years of clinical social work experience, my work is largely predicated on evidenced-based therapies such as Parent Child Interaction Therapy and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. However, I possess expertise in an array of therapeutic approaches and tailor individual therapy plans accordingly.
